Step 1: Stay Calm and Report the Loss

The first thing to do is stay calm. Acting quickly helps protect your card balance. Here’s how you can report a lost or stolen Nol Card:

Online (for registered Nol Cards only): Visit the RTA website or open the RTA Dubai mobile app. Log into your account and report your lost or stolen Nol Card directly.
By Phone: Call RTA customer service at 800-9090—they’re available 24/7 and ready to help.

Reporting immediately ensures your card is blocked so no one else can use it.

Step 2: Block Your Nol Card

Once you report it, RTA will block your Nol Card to prevent any misuse.

Imagine finishing your class at one of the top Dubai language schools and realising your card is gone. By blocking it quickly, your credit stays safe, and replacing the card becomes a stress-free process.

Step 3: Request a Replacement

There are two easy ways to get a new card:

Online: Log into your RTA account and select “Replacement Card.”
In Person: Visit any RTA Customer Happiness Center, such as those near Union, Burjuman, or Mall of the Emirates metro stations.

You can also use RTA Smart Kiosks for quick replacement requests—they’re available 24/7 in malls and metro stations like Jumeirah Emirates Towers, Al Barsha Mall, Deira Centres, and taxi hubs. Step 4: Know the Replacement Cost

Replacing a standard Silver Nol Card costs around AED 30. It’s a small price to pay for keeping your credit safe. If you’re using a personalised Nol Card—a popular choice for students—it might cost a bit more. These cards show your name and photo, making them even more secure.

Step 5: How Long Will It Take?

Dubai’s public services are fast and efficient:

Standard Card: 3–5 working days
Personalised Card: Up to 7 working days

You’ll be back to your classes and city adventures in no time!

Step 6: Transfer Your Balance

Don’t worry—you won’t lose your money. Once you receive your new Nol Card, your remaining credit is automatically transferred. Double-check the balance when you receive the new card. If there’s a problem, contact RTA for quick support.
